This Refund & Cancellation Policy (the "Policy") explains how the Organisation handles refunds, cancellations, and fee adjustments for all services offered, including Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms, online courses, events, podcasts, travel bookings, and all related services. By using any of our services, you agree to the terms outlined in this Policy. If you do not agree with the terms, please refrain from using our services

General Terms for Subscription and Service Cancellation

You have the ability to cancel your subscription to any of our services, including SaaS platforms, online courses, events, and other subscription-based services, at any time. The following outlines the cancellation terms:

  • Cancellation Effective Date When you cancel a subscription, the cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to the service until the end of the billing cycle.
  • No Refund for Unused Periods No refunds will be issued for the unused portion of the subscription period. For example, if you cancel a monthly or annual subscription before the end of the term, you will not be refunded for the remaining time.
  • How to Cancel To cancel your subscription, you may log into your account on the Organisation Website and follow the instructions for cancellation. If you encounter issues or need assistance, please contact us at info@1XL.com.
Fee Changes and Price Adjustments

We reserve the right to adjust the subscription fees and prices for all of our services, including SaaS platforms, online courses, workshops, and events. Price changes may be made for a variety of reasons, including:

  • Changes in market conditions
  • Inflation
  • Service upgrades or improvements
  • Other business-related factors

In accordance with UAE law, we will notify you in advance of any price changes. The notification will be sent by email or through the Organisation’s website, and any changes will apply only after the specified notification period.

Credit-Based Products

Certain products and services, such as credits for SaaS subscriptions, event registrations, or online courses, may be purchased using a credit system. Once credits are purchased, they are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, other products, or services.

  • Non-Refundable Credits Once the transaction is complete, the credits cannot be cancelled or refunded. Please ensure that you are ready to use the credits before finalising your purchase.
Subscription-Based Products

For services such as SaaS subscriptions, online courses, or membership programmes, the following conditions apply:

  • Cancellation You can cancel your subscription at any time. However, no refund will be provided for any unused portion of the subscription period.
  • Continued Access Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to the services until the end of your current billing cycle. After this period, your access will be terminated, and no further charges will be applied.
Event Refunds/Cancellations

We offer event services, including workshops, conferences, seminars, and other gatherings. The refund and cancellation policy for events is outlined below:

Ticket Delivery
  • Digital Tickets: Upon confirmation of your ticket purchase, a QR code will be sent to the email address you provided. Please ensure that the email address is accurate to avoid any delivery issues. The QR code must be presented for entry to the event.
  • Physical Tickets: If you select physical ticket delivery, the tickets will be sent to the address provided during the booking process. Please double-check your address to avoid errors. We are not responsible for undelivered tickets due to incorrect addresses.
  • Pick-Up Option: If you select the pick-up option for event tickets, please make sure to collect your tickets within the specified time frame. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your ticket without any refund.
Ticket Cancellation

Once you confirm your ticket purchase, no cancellations are allowed. We strongly recommend that you review your schedule and confirm your attendance before purchasing tickets.

Ticket Transfers

If you are unable to attend an event and would like to transfer your ticket to someone else, the following conditions apply:

  • A transfer request must be submitted at least 7 days before the event.
  • The request must be submitted via email to info@1XL.com, including the original ticket holder's full name, the transferee's name, ticket number, and any other relevant details.
  • The event organisers reserve the right to reject any transfer requests that do not meet the specified requirements or are submitted after the cut-off date.
Promotions & Offers

Promotions such as Early Bird ticket discounts or other special offers may be subject to specific terms and conditions. These offers may not apply to tickets purchased before the promotion period. We recommend reviewing the terms of each promotion carefully before purchasing to understand any restrictions.

Event Cancellation or Postponement

In the event that an event is cancelled or rescheduled, we will follow the event organiser's guidelines for providing a refund or rescheduling your attendance:

  • Refunds: You may be eligible for a full refund or a reschedule credit, depending on the event organiser's policies.
  • Non-Refundable Charges: Certain administrative fees, such as booking fees or processing charges, may not be refunded in the event of cancellation.
  • Rescheduled Events: If the event is rescheduled, you will be given the option to attend the new date or request a refund. Please follow the instructions provided by the event organiser for rescheduling or requesting a refund.
Payments & Financial Transactions

We use third-party payment processors (e.g., PayPal, credit card providers, etc.) for all financial transactions. The Organisation does not store any of your payment information. Payments are securely processed by third-party providers, and their privacy policies govern the handling of your payment details. Payment Failure & Chargebacks

If your payment fails, access to the service will be suspended until the payment is successfully processed. In cases where there are disputes, chargebacks, or payment failures, access to the services may be temporarily suspended until the issue is resolved.
